landscaping my swampy backyard so Kei will have a clean and SAFE place to play

Organized by Hello Sluggo

Won't you help?
Imagine the voice of Sally Struthers:
"This little girl needs a safe and clean place to play. Her parents' backyard is a mess, and is going to take a bit of work to have repaired so that grass will grow for her little feet to run on. As it is now, the barren grassless spots in the yard collect rain water and create huge pools of mud, as well as become breeding grounds for swarms of West Nile-carrying mosquitoes. Won't you help? Just a dollar will help this family repair and beautify their child's playscape, replace the broken-down fence and correct the sinking patio. Hell, more than a dollar would really helpâ??say, five or ten or even twenty. Perhaps you'd like to bankroll the project? Please help."

As the camera stops rolling, can't you just hear her plea:
"Man, am I glad that's over... Where's the closest Krispy Kreme?!"

But seriously, folks... My backyard is seriously in need of a makeover. Nothing extravagant, it just needs to be leveled and have drains added to get rid of the water so grass will grow. And a new fence, 'cos the old one is rotten and warped to hell... Oh, and while we're at it, the patio needs fixing 'cos it's unlevel and separating. Yeah, and did I mention that Sharon's pregnant? So if you help me out with this, you'll be helping out two little kids with a clean and safe place to play. And if we have a boy, oh jeez...
